One of the Chinese Teams seeking to shine in Rio is the men's Five-a-side Football Squad, who won silver in the event back in 2008. And coach Zou Hongmou's team will look to repeat that success in Brazil.
Team China reached the final at the Beijing Paralympics, only to be beaten by Brazil. But this time they will avoid an early encounter with the hosts as the team were drawn to Group B, along with Argentina, Mexico, and Russia who have been banned and replaced by Spain.
Zou's men were known for their superb technique and smooth team work. But the growing popularity of the event means more and more European sides with better physical ability have made for stiffer competition.
Despite the difficulties, Zou is confident that his men will reach the knock-out stage.
"We konw very little about Russia, and only played against them once. Spain is much more familiar to us. We are old rivals. Our players have shown very good form so far. They have put the jet leg behind them," said Zou.
