President Xi Jinping has met with foreign leaders on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
During a meeting with his French counterpart Francois Hollande, Xi said China is willing to work with France to improve cooperation in various areas, enhance people-to-people exchanges and strengthen communication and coordination in international affairs.

Xi met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel after the conclusion of the summit. He said Beijing and Berlin should strengthen mutual trust, maintain high-level exchanges and consult each other on major issues of common concern. He says China is ready to maintain close communication and coordination with Germany for next year's G20 summit in Hamburg.

Xi also met with British Prime Minister Theresa May. He urged China and Britain to boost political mutual trust, communicate and cooperate in various fields to achieve stable relations.
