The age of globalization has brought about challenges for the world economy. And experts express their optimism for the G20 Summit, and share how issues should tackled.
“I think the theme of the summit shows the wish to make world relations stable and inclusive, and to deliver the idea of developing the global economy and common interests. Especially in the age of globalization, barriers and obstacles shared between all of the countries should be eliminated,” said Iraqi economist Majid Suwar.
Meanwhile, an Argentine entrepreneur has hailed China’s role in fighting poverty. The Vice-President of Argentina’s Industrial Union, Daniel Funes de Rioja said “Globalization and growing interconnectivity between countries and regions do not only stimulate growth and create jobs, but also contribute to development and to greater inclusion.”
Funes de Rioja also praised China for its efficient fight against poverty despite globalization. He made the remarks at the two-day B20 summit, which gathered more than 1,000 business leaders to discuss the world economy.
