Full coverage: G20 Hangzhou Summit

World leaders continue to arrive in China with the G20 Summit set to begin today. British Prime Minister Theresa May landed in Hangzhou City about an hour ago. It marks May’s first visit to China since taking office in July. The fallout from Brexit is expected to be one of the key issues topping the G20 Summit agenda.

Also already in Hangzhou is Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, who arrived earlier, at six in the morning. In his first visit to China earlier this year, Turnbull led a delegation of 2,000 businessmen in a bid to expand business cooperation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Korean President Park Geun-hye also arrived on Saturday evening. During Putin’s last visit this June, Moscow and Beijing signed 30 bilateral agreements in various areas.

Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to meet his South Korean counterpart Park Geun-hye on the sidelines of the summit.

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also arrived earlier on Saturday evening.
