And now we’re going turn to to my colleague Tian Wei, who is by the West Lake IN Hangzhou where the G20 Opening gala will take place tonight.

Q1:Wei, you’ve been to Hangzhou many times before, and you’ve also been following the G20 summit each year, what’s your impression of summit this year in Hangzhou so far? 

Q2:Silk, tea, poems, all of these things come to mind. There’s no doubt the city has such an important place in China’s history and culture. Yet, it’s a culture that is constantly evolving with time. Aside from tea houses, pubs and nightclubs dot the city, and in addition to the local jiangnan sizhu music, you can also find jazz and rock in Hangzhou’s vibrant art scene. Tell us more about Hangzhou’s art scene today?

Q3:The West Lake was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011. One of the goals of this summit is to show that these natural and cultural heritages not only belong to China but also to the rest of world. If the silk and tea from Hangzhou helped pave the way for the Silk Road and bridged cultures and countries in the past, what is Hangzhou’s contribution to the G20 community and the world today?
