In more international action, Spain will take on Belgium in a friendly in Brussels later on Thursday. This match marks the debut for both coaches as Julen Lopetegui has his first outing with Spain while Roberto Martinez is in the same position for the hosts.
Spain mounted a rather weak defence of their Euro title, bowing out to Italy in the last 16 this summer.
Former Porto boss Lopetegui will have his work cut out for him to emulate the success of the retired Vicente del Bosque, who steered his nation to a World Cup victory in 2010 and the Euro crown in 2012.
This game will be Lopetegui's first chance to see his players in action together, ahead of their opening World Cup qualifier against Liechtenstein on Monday.
