The US Secretary of State John Kerry has met with Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj in India's capital city, New Delhi, to discuss bilateral ties.
The meeting comes one day after the two sides signed an agreement in Washington giving both countries access to each other's military bases. While in India, Kerry will co-chair the second US-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue.
Kerry will also hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders, to discuss the disputed region of Kashmir and Afghanistan.
