The Chinese national football are gearing up for their biggest game in over a decade. September 1st the PRC face South Korea hoping to reach their first world cup since their one and only appearance in 2002.
Coach Gao Hongbo decided to cancel training yesterday after a sharp temperature drop at the base in Shenyang. The game in Incheon is expected to be heavily attended by Chinese fans, some of whom have been in South Korea recently for matches in the Asian Champions league.
Their first home game will be September 6th when they face Iran and the team will also be wearing a new strip, for that game. They hope, the change in colour can bring them a change in fortunes.
