On May 7, 2016 during the Tunis TV Festival, Vice President Tang Shiding of China International Television Corporation (CITVC) led a delegation to China-Arab TV (CATV) in Dubai.

The delegation visited the hardware, program making and broadcast facilities, and met President Liu Haitao and Vice President Zaid of CATV. Consensus was reached and an agreement signed on launching China Hour on CATV.

Mr. Tang said that CITVC was working at the all-round cooperation with countries along the Silk Road aiming to facilitate mutual understanding through frequent program communication and the Belt and Road Media Community.
