Thai police say at least 20 people were involved in carrying out a wave of deadly bombings in the south of the country earlier this month.

National police chief, Jakthip Chaijinda says  most suspects come from Thailand's Muslim-majority southern provinces -- but their motive for conducting the attacks remains unclear. The Thai government has ruled out the possibility of any foreign influence. No group has claimed responsibility.
