A panda cub has marked his first birthday at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington DC.
Authorities of the zoo and Chinese Embassy in the US threw a party for Panda Bei Bei on Saturday. The cub also received wishes from Chinese First Lady Peng Liyuan and US First Lady Michelle Obama, hailing two nation's friendship and the value of the family. The first ladies named the cub together in September last year.
