Syrian activists have posted video on the internet that they say shows several people pulled from the rubble of a building hit by an airstrike in Aleppo on Wednesday night. 

The video includes footage of a small child who appears to be injured being photographed and filmed after being placed in the back of an ambulance, his face bloodied and completely covered in dust.

It has drawn shock and outrage on social media. On Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, internet users called for an end to the crisis. 

Fighting for control of Aleppo has intensified in recent weeks, causing hundreds of deaths and depriving many civilians of power, water and vital supplies.
