The world's first quantum communication satellite is ready head to space. The high-tech Chinese satellite has been loaded on its carrier rocket in Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

Scientists say they have conducted tests and examinations on the satellite's performances as well as its installation accuracy. The satellite will be launched in the middle of August.
