Russian media have reported that a military communication channel may be established between Russia and Turkey.

The Russian Defense Ministry reportedly drafted several documents, including ones establishing a bilateral military information-sharing channel, and the recording of military aviation activity.

The measures aim to avoid accidents from happening -- much like the Russian fighter jet being downed by Turkey last year. A decision will be made when both Turkish and Russian presidents meet.
