Full coverage: G20 Hangzhou Summit

The upcoming G20 summit in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou is just one month away. This year's summit will highlight innovation, development and reform. Many foreign diplomats in China say they expect to hear the 'China proposal', which aims to further develop the world economy.

For the first time in G20 history, China is putting the issue of development as a main priority for the global macro-policy framework. Also, as the host country, China is the first to outline steps to implement the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. As a developing country, it will also promote the industrialization of Africa and those least developed countries.

Many of them think it is critical that China being innovative to achieve economic growth, is a strategic force driving world economy and global economic cooperation.
