Somali police say at least seven people, including two attackers, have been killed in a bombing and shooting attack on the Criminal Investigation Department headquarters in the capital Mogadishu.
Police blame the Islamist al-Shabaab group for the attack. They say police killed the two gunmen who stormed into the building after two car bombs exploded outside.
The blasts came just days after at least 13 people were killed in twin bombings near Mogadishu Airport near buildings used by the UN and the African Union.
