China has released the latest scientific research of its lunar exploration mission. The Chang-er-three (Chang'e 3), was launched two-and-a-half years ago. Since then, its robotic lander and lunar rover have collected a wealth of data, much of it for the first time.
Chang-er-three is designed to observe and study the moon, the universe, and the space surrounding the earth. Chinese space scientists said the mission has drawn the first geographic profile of the moon, and also confirmed that there is no water on its surface.
