China's Olympic delegation has started arriving in Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Summer Olympics, which kicks off in 8 days. The athletes have encountered several housing issues inside the city's Olympic Village, including -- low voltage, weak hydraulic pressure and no hot bath water.

Brazilian workers are working around the clock to address the problems and to ensure no more facility issues occur in the future. Outside of the Village, crime is high. Chinese athletes and Chinese tourists have filed several reports of being robbed. China's Foreign Ministry and the Chinese Embassy in Brazil have warned Chinese citizens in the country to take extra care when going out.
