Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday formally accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president.
She pledged “steady leadership” and more economic opportunities for Americans when speaking on the fourth and final night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This also makes her the first woman in U.S. history to accept a major party’s presidential nomination.
