Russia's Olympic team has departed for the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. More than 100 Russians from what was originally a 387-strong team have been barred from competing.
International sports federations are concerned about links to doping under measures most Russian athletes consider unfair. The departure comes a day after an emotional goodbye ceremony with President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin.
Putin blasted the decision to exclude the Russian track and field team and some other athletes as political. He said it goes "beyond the legal sphere and common sense".
