The International Triathlon Union says all six athletes in Russia's triathlon squad have been cleared to compete at next month's Rio Olympics. Also, the International Volleyball Federation says that the Russian volleyball and beach volleyball teams have been cleared to compete at the Rio Olympics.

However, Russia's track-and-field athletes cannot participate at the Games as stipulated by the International Association of Athletics Federation. Russia's President Vladimir Putin is set to meet with Russia's shrunken Olympic team.
