French President Francois Hollande says two hostage takers who killed a priest in a church in northern France were terrorists who had pledged allegiance to Islamic State.

Hollande told reporters that France would fight against Islamic State using "all means", urging the French people to "create a solid bloc that no-one can split". The Islamic State's Amaq news agency said two Islamic State 'soldiers' had carried out the church attack.
