Wang Yi noted China and South Korea are neighbors and strategic partners, but to deploy the THAAD advanced missile system
on the Korean Peninsula will hurt bilateral trust and endanger the regional peace and stability.

Yun Byung-se said Seoul has no intention to and will not damage China's strategic and security interests. He said South Korea would like to strengthen communication with China, increase mutual trust and further develop the bilateral strategic partnership.
