Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and his Turkish counterpart Mehmet Simsek have met in Moscow. The two ministers expressed willingness to restore relations in trade and economy between the their respective countries.
The meeting marks the first ministerial-level visit by Turkish officials after Ankara's recent apology for downing a Russian war plane last November.
Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan is also expected to visit Russia on August 9th for his first meeting with Vladimir Putin since the two countries agreed to restore ties.
