Supporters of Bernie Sanders have protested outside of the Democratic National Convention, as well as in the streets of Philadelphia, as the party prepared to formally nominate Hillary Clinton.

Several protesters were arrested Monday as they jumped over a barricade erected by police around the venue. Over 19-thousand Democratic National Committee emails were leaked by the WikiLeaks website on Friday.

This sparked suspicions of election fraud that prevented Sanders from winning the nomination, as the party establishment was working to undermine him. Some protesters are calling on voters to refrain from voting in November.

"If the fraud is not prosecuted then we have no democracy. It's my belief, we have to shut down the polls if necessary in November. We cannot allow elections to take place until there are prosecutions. We have the evidence from the exit polls we have all the data to prove that the elections are a fraud and a huge conspiracy," said Kieth Kovacs, protester.

"I am not going to accept to vote for her I consider her dishonest and corrupt and am not going to be forced to vote for someone who I consider dishonest because of a boogie man, am just not going to do it," said Anne Coughlin, protester.
