Q1: The US and Japan have been trying to bring the South China Sea issue into the center of this meeting, alongside other meetings as well -- is this a possibility? How should ASEAN react to this?

Q2: The Laos Prime Minister said countries should ensure unity to address non-traditional security challenges -- what are these "non-traditional security challenges" and how are they influencing the region?

Q3: Apart from security concerns, what are the priority development issues for ASEAN at this stage?
