The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has revealed that job growth in the country was moderate in the first six months of 2016.
Just over seven million new jobs were created from January to June. Unemployment was registered at a fraction over four percent at the end of June. The number of migrant workers -- who head from rural areas to cities -- saw a slight growth of 0.4 percent for the six months, for a total of just over 175 million.
The ministry also claims that nearly 920 million people have registered with social security offices.
Local governments are also being urged to facilitate better job hunting procedures for university graduates.
