The remains of two Chinese UN peacekeepers who were killed in South Sudan, have been airlifted to Uganda as part of their journey back home.

The two peacekeepers, Li Lei and Yang Shupeng, were killed last Sunday after the armored vehicle they were travelling in was hit by a mortar shell during clashes between rival army factions. Five other Chinese peacekeepers were injured in the incident.
