Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke with French President Francois Holland on the phone earlier today, extending his condolences to the families of the victims of the Nice terrorist attack.

Xi told Hollande that terrorism is a common enemy of all mankind and a common threat to the entire international community. He said China condemns “terrorism in all formsm,” and added that China stands ready to work with France to combat terrorist threats.

Xi said China is willing to boost security and cooperative counter-terrorism efforts so as to safeguard world peace and protect the people of all countries in the world.
