Chinese government has managed to conduct its trial flight test at two newly-established airports in Nansha islands, Mischief Reef and Zhubi Reef. The experimental flight has proven that both of the two airports are qualified for supporting passenger aircrafts' safely operation.

They are expected to promote personnel exchanges and provide convenience for emergency care and medical rescue in the region. The airports will also serve as alternate airports for more airlines going to the South China Sea area.
