Kevin Durant, the former NBA MVP hopes to lead Team USA to their third straight gold medal in Rio. But ahead of the Games, he is promoting the sport internationally.
His latest trip took him to a youth clinic in Hong Kong, where he drilled the children in fundamentals, and expressed excitement about joining the Golden State Warriors next season.
Durant's decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder and sign with the Dubs sent shockwaves throughout the NBA last week. He will form a virtual super line-up with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green -- as they try to reclaim the title they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers last month.
But the youngsters at this event don't care which team he's playing for, as their cheers almost drown out the announcer's voice at times.
The Slim Reaper would demonstrate a number of skills for the crowd, including passing, dribbling, and dunking.
The small forward is mostly known for putting the ball through the hoop, of course, as he's led the league in scoring four times. And he says he's happy to share this moment with the fans, as he gets ready for the next step in his career.
