The "Silk Way Rally" returns after a 2-year absence later today, starting in Moscow before eventually making its way to Beijing.
This will be the sixth edition of the rally which will get underway in Red Square. Competitors will endure roughly nine-thousand kilometers of track, talking them though Russian, Kazakhstan and Chinese landscapes in 15 days of racing.
This year organisers concentrated on making the event more exciting for fans with the onus being placed on speed and adventure when planning the route. Competitors will face tough weather conditions, as they conclude their rallying experience in the Chinese capital July 24th. All this is part of the Moscow-Beijing project to promote bilateral ties between the two nations.
