Hungary will hold a referendum on October 2nd on EU's plan to relocate migrants among member states.
Budapest says the plan violates its national sovereignty and poses a threat to its security. The country's right-wing government initially voted against the EU's plan to share some 160-thousand migrants around the 28-nation bloc. But the plan was nonetheless approved by a majority of member states.
Hungary has joined Slovakia in filing a legal challenge against the plan, which was meant to ease pressure on Greece and Italy, the main entry points for migrants.
