In Iraq, dozens of rockets have struck a camp sheltering an exiled Iranian opposition group near Baghdad’s international airport.
A spokesman of the People’s Mujahideen Organisation of Iran or PMOI said more than 50 mortar rounds hit the camp Monday, with 40 residents wounded.
Several caravans in the camp were set on fire. The group suspects “Iraqi groups affiliated with the Iranian” government were responsible for the shelling. Security forces have found the rocket launcher used in the attacks in western Baghdad.
