Iceland's magical run will live on, especially their celebration following games, where the team and its fans would clap in unison.

And even after they lost, in brutal fashion, the Icelanders, making their tournament debut, would continue with their tradition of performing the Nordic thunder clap, with outstretched arms. A great sight, hopefully the Scandinavians can make more tournaments so we can see it again.

Leaving with victory were the France supporters. Waving their red, white, and blue flags and honking their horns in Paris, the motorists drove through the rain and past police and soldiers gathered at the Champs Elysee. For many of those, the victory is a relief from the aftermath of the November 2015 attacks in Paris which killed 130 people, and had the country on high alert.
