At least 82 people are killed, with 200 injured as two separate bombings hit Baghdad in the early hours on Saturday local time. A refrigerator truck packed with explosives blew up in a shopping area in Karrada district, killing at least 80 people and injuring at least 200.

The second incident happened in the north of the capital, with a roadside explosive device killing at least two. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying the first blast was a suicide bombing.
