A fantastic story is evolving with Iceland. The team coached by a dentist, and comprised of film directors and sailors, are making the most of their debut at the tournament.

The most notable Icelandic footballer is probably Eidur Gudjohnsen. The former Barcelona and Chelsea striker has now been converted into a midfielder, and has not found his way into the starting line-up for the national team.
