A scaled-down multi-purpose spacecraft re-entry capsule, which was sent into space by the Long March 7 carrier rocket, has just landed in Inner Mongolia, after 20 hours in orbit.
The Long March-7 is China's new generation, middle-sized rocket carrier. It was launched 8:00 PM local time in Wenchang Satellite Launch Center on Saturday.
Right on schedule, the Yuanzheng-1A, dubbed the "Space Shuttle Bus," was separated from the Long March-7 at 8:10 PM. The re-entry capsule is one of the several payloads carried by the Yuanzheng-1A for various experiments.
