Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered rescue workers to turn all attention to saving lives after a deadly tornado tore through eastern China's Jiangsu province on Thursday.

98 people were killed during the storm -- and more than 800 people were injured. Xi ordered authorities to do all they can to prevent any further casualties and to bring all survivors to safety.
