Full coverage: President Xi Visits 3 Nations, Attends SCO Summit

Chinese President Xi Jinping has put forward a five-point proposal for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the Uzbek capital Tashkent.

The proposal aims  to consolidate unity and mutual trust, and deepen comprehensive cooperation. Today is the final day of the annual two-day summit, and President Xi met his counterparts from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus on the sidelines.

President Xi met with Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday.  They agreed on the importance of synergizing the EEU and the Belt and Road Initiative within the SCO framework.
