The man accused of murdering British MP Jo Cox will go on trial in November.
52-year-old Thomas Mair is accused of shooting and stabbing Cox in broad daylight on a street in Birstall, West Yorkshire. When asked to confirm his name at an earlier hearing, Mair said his name was "death to traitors, freedom for Britain".
A judge said Mair would be tried under anti-terrorism legistlation. The trial begins on November 14th.
The murder of the proEU lawmaker shocked politicians and the British public and cast a shadow over the final days of campaigning ahead of Thursday's Brexit referendum.
