The 'Meet Vincent Van Gogh' Experience opens this weekend, and offers visitors the chance to learn about the life and work of the Dutch painter while literally walking through his paintings.

Guided by quotations from more than 800 letters Van Gogh exchanged with his brother Theo, visitors are surrounded by lifelike reproductions and audiovisual scenes from his art.

Interactive digital platforms also enable people to explore their own creativity using digital versions of the artist's tools. Interactive installations let you literally walk through artworks, listen to the wind from 'The Harvest' and even smell the straw.

The exhibition runs until September 16th. After its time in Beijing, it's expected to move on to Shanghai, Macau and Sanya.
