The officials in Wenchang Satellite Launch Center said this 53-meter-tall, 600-ton rocket has completed most tests. The rocket’s debut flight will carry a scaled-down version of a new re-entry capsule for human spaceflight.
The new rockets are expected to become the main launch vehicle for Chinese space missions, replacing the current Long March 3B.
