A banquet has been held at the Royal Castle in Warsaw to welcome President Xi to Poland.

President Xi spoke at the event, praising Poland for its bright culture and hospitable people, and its help to China in the past. He said relations between the two countries have reached new heights, with more opportunities ahead.

Polish President Duda said the two countries share a long history of friendship, and the One Belt One Road initiative launched by China has shortened the distance between the two. He voiced Poland's goodwill on working with China in many fields to bring Asia and Europe closer.
