The Chinese ambassador to Poland, Xu Jian, says Sino-Polish relations are at their best so far. He sees President Xi Jinping’s visit as one able to lift political, economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries even higher.

“Poland is one of the first countries that established diplomatic relations with China. The two nations boast a traditional friendship. The bilateral ties have embarked on a fast track of development in recent years and in particular since they forged strategic partnership in 2011,” Xu said.

“After Poland’s presidential and parliamentary elections last year, the new leader, new government have taken a positive and active attitude on ties and cooperation with China at various fields. I think Sino-Polish ties are at their best stage in history.”
