China's economic and trade cooperation with Serbia, Poland and Uzbekistan have been developing steadily, according to Commerce Ministry spokesman Shen Danyang at its routine press conference on Friday.
Shen says in 2015, China-Serbia bilateral trade volume reached to 549 million US dollars, an increase of 2.2 percent from that of the previous year. China has become Uzbekistan's second largest trade partner, the largest source of investment, and the largest cotton export destination.
Shen also highlighted the development of China's economic cooperation with Poland.
He said, "Poland has been one of China's most important economic and trade partners in Central and Eastern Europe in recent years. Bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and other fields has made positive progress."
"Poland has been China's largest trading partner in Central and Eastern Europe for 11 consecutive years. From January to April in 2016, bilateral trade volume between our two countries has reached to 5.42 billion US dollars, an increase of 2.6 percent from a year ago."
