Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Serbia, Poland and Uzbekistan from June 17th to 22nd. He will also attend the 16th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tashkent on June 23 and 24. The trip is seen as a fresh move to enhance regional and international cooperation.
"During the visit, President Xi will exchange views with Serbian officials on deepening bilateral ties, as well as boosting the Belt and Road Initiative and other regional and international matters of mutual interest. Both sides will expand their mutual understanding and consensus. They will sign agreements on economy and trade, capacity cooperation, financial cooperation, and regional cooperation," said Liu Haixing, assistant minister of Chinese Foreign Ministry.
