In the United States, a gunman has opened fire on a crowd of people at a Florida LGBT club.Police say 20 people were killed in the attack and 42 have been taken to hospital.

Orlando police confirmed the shooter was killed inside the club and urged residents to stay away from the area. Authorities say a controlled explosion, operated by law enforcement officers, had also taken place inside the club. Around 100 people were at the venue when the incident occurred.
