China has handed over free assistance of over 400 pickups and 80 ambulances, in addition to office equipment to Pakistan.

Pakistani Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong and officials from the both sides attended the handover ceremony in Islamabad. China has signed an agreement to provide free assistance to Pakistan during President Xi Jinping's state visit there in April last year.

Ambassador Sun says China hopes the free assistance can support Pakistan for strengthening its capacity building.
