Q1) China will give the US 250 billion yuan worth of RQFII quota and is looking at yuan settlement banks in the US down the line. Is this a significant or token deal?

Q2) A major contentious issue is steel overcapacity. China's push back position is that 'more than half of those steel companies are private, we cannot force them to close.' Does the US buy into that?

Q3) To what extent was this dialogue swayed by political pressures due to the upcoming US elections?
